| Have You Heard About Recycled Plastic Lumber? |
Plastic park benches, picnic tables and decking? Yes. And it’s even recycled plastic, reports Karen Gallay, CFSA Purchasing Services. Made of recycled high-density polyethylene plastic, Recyclemaid Lumber won’t crack, peel, fade or splinter. It’s impervious to rot, insects, road salt and most chemicals, never needs painting, and is easy to work with — you can nail, drill and fasten it with conventional tools and fasteners. And you can choose from a variety of colors, in addition to mahogany, weathered wood, cedar and sandstone looks.
Other recycled plastic items include telephone enclosures, signage (custom and ADA), park
benches, planters (custom), waste receptacle covers (for 55 gallon drums and 33 gallon cans),
round posts, decking, fencing; speed bumps and parking stops; as well as 50’ and 100’ rolls.
For more information, and to place an order, call Karen Gallay at 916/263-6191.

| Let's Go To The Fair |
Alameda County Fair reports a slight increase in total attendance, and a paid attendance just below even with last year’s. In keeping with other fairs this year, their livestock auction buyers and dollars increased, even with less animals.
Jim Farley, CEO of Marin County Fair, is pleased to inform us his fair showed a 3 percent increase in paid attendance. There’s no doubt these two fairs benefitted from the great weather northern California is enjoying. To date, 19 fairs have supplied F.Y.I. with their total attendance tallies:
