Fairtime is Even More Fun and Educational with Exhibits from the Del Mar Fair

The Del Mar Fair has crafted a collection of five multi-paneled educational exhibits available to other fairs for rent or purchase. All you need to do to reserve or order an exhibit is send or fax a letter to Michelle Kinney, 619/755-1161, fax 619/481-7338, listing, in order of preference, the exhibits you desire, along with the dates of your fair. (Exhibits for purchase require a six-month production lead time.) These exhibits are in high demand and availability is limited, so place your requests early. Exhibits include:*

“A Year in the Life of a Dairy Cow” features photos and facts about the milking process, how milk gets to the supermarket, and the variety of dairy products available.
  • 24 - 32” x 48” panels
  • 1- 3’ x 40’ banner
Purchase price: $4,000; Rental fee: $50/day
“The Life & Times of a Pig” exhibit features photos and facts detailing the history of pig farming, swine by-products, breeds, and much more.
  • 18- 32” x 48” panels
  • 1- 3’ x 20’ banner
Purchase price: $5,000; Rental fee: $50/day
“Horses Through Time” highlights the evolution of the horse, taking fair visitors back 50,000 years to the five-toed forest dwelling animal and showing how evolution “built” the perfect horse.
  • 9- 32” x 48” panels
  • 1- 3’ x 15’ banner
Purchase price: $2,000; Rental fee: $50/day
“Sheep and Ewe” features a variety of facts fair visitors will find interesting about the sheep industry. This exhibit takes a hands-on approach to tell the story of wool from sheep to fabric.
  • 23- 32” x 48” panels
  • 1- 3’ x 15’ banner
Purchase price: $2,500; Rental fee: $50/day
"Feathered Friends" comes with poultry and egg-shaped cutouts providing fascinating information about poultry by-products, and meat and egg consumption. Colorful photos tell the story of egg processing, hen house to grocery store.

Purchase price: $2,000; Rental fee: $50/day

* Exhibitor is responsible for shipping costs to and from the Del Mar Fair, and installation.
