Training and Certifications Personally Provided by Our Risk Control Team Specialists

A large part of CFSA’s job as a risk-sharing pool administrator is providing CFSA Workers’ Compensation Pool member fairs with a comprehensive, year-round risk control program tailored to each fair’s specific needs. This value-added service is provided at no extra charge and is designed to help fairs identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and to comply with State safety regulations.

If you don’t see the training program you’re interested in or to learn more about CFSA’s training and certification programs, please contact your fair’s safety specialist or CFSA’s Risk Department Manager, Tom Amberson.

Fairground Emergency Planning Guide
Does your fairground have an emergency plan? CFSA’s Fairground Emergency Planning Guide will walk you through the key elements of a thorough emergency plan as well as provide you with a look at maps showing California’s history of local hazards, from wildfires to earthquakes, and landslides to floods.

The handbook is currently undergoing an update and will be posted here as soon as it’s available. In the meantime, talk to your fair’s risk control specialist for immediate help.
